Cards got a nice win Saturday, but face their toughest test to date Saturday at Clemson. Who wins & why?

While I think the Cards could win this week, I think they have to wait a week to become "Bowl Eligible"

 

Clemson D has been all over the place, you just don't know what they are going to do.

Offense hasn't shown me enough to think we can win this game on the road. Hopefully the defense continues to play well and gives us a chance.

If he does, that could make a big difference. I'm sure there will be some rust though, which should be expected. Either way, a road win against Clemson is a big challenge IMO and a big win if they get it.

The Louisville defense will do all it can, but there's just not enough to overcome the talent the Tigers can throw out there.

 

After hanging 38 on Florida State two weeks ago in a loss, NC State met up with Clemson's defense last weekend and scored exactly zero. That doesn't give me a lot of hope about Louisville's chances to move the ball given how poorly they've done it against Virginia, Wake, and Syracuse so far in league play. That Miami game feels like a lifetime ago.

 

If this spread stays around two touchdowns (up to 13 last I saw), I'll optimistically say that Louisville goes down, but covers.

Heading out at about 10:00 tomorrow morning. Staying both nights in Greenville.

 

I predict I will find a friendly pub somewhere in Greenville and camp out there on Friday night.

 

I also predict an early departure for the Clemson campus on Saturday morning. Much tailgating to be done.

 

I was there for a game last year and predict I will remain jealous of those purple and orange argyle-patterned pants you see from time to time down there.

 

I predict that win or lose, Randy is still the absolute worst.
