A really good CC team? Comical. There best win is over Cooper. No program is beating there chest about beating Cooper this year. It's a very winnable game for a NKY 6a school not named Boone County.

As an Owensboro fan I have no issue being #2. Now had we beat BG I'd be screaming to be #1. But I also believe I wouldn't have to scream because we'd be #1. Really hoping Highlands & Owensboro make the 4A state finals.

They played BG within a TD and led for most of the game...I don't think you'd find many people on here that believe Highlands would play BG that close.

I think most of us sane individuals will recognize Highlands and Owensboro are both great teams this year. Highlands has proven year to year they are the favorites. I think Owensboro has played a tougher schedule so far, but that changes when the birds get the Columbus and Cincy teams. I FULLY expect the birds to be in the state championship game, and hopefully Owensboro will be there too. They will have to go through a gimme, then Warren East, then Madisonville or @ Franklin Simpson, then @ Collins or North Oldham. I think Owensboro will be there too.

 

Owensboro in previous state championship games lost to 2 GREAT Highlands teams led by Grover, Giuduidglgili, Hamblen and Rob Smith. I personally don't think there is ANY team in the state like those 2 teams. So I think if they meet this year it's going to be a great game.

I didn't say that, my point was the computer said one thing, and the real game was another. It's a computer, it's not the gospel truth. It doesn't mean St. X would beat Highlands either just because the computer thinks it.
