I can't believe how small Powell was? He looks like he is 5'9 160lbs..

 

That's what you call being lean. 5'10 &180 lbs isn't that big but it's not small for a high school kid. When you add in the fact that the kids a shifty burner it makes all the difference in the world. I will say Powell runs very well and has good vision to help him find space.

Does this win validate that they are worthy of being mentioned in the same breathe as T, St X, Male, Scott Cty, Bryan Station and others around the state? Or does this just mean they are still undefeated and are still working toward the ultimate goal?

Can't be mentioned in the same breath of the big 6A schools until they beat some of them., I don't think CC is a statement win, but that is just my opinion.

I would call it a solid win. CC hung with.....this year so they are not an easy win.

And this game wasn't even remotely close after halftime.

SK wins the second half 35-7. Nice to see them finish a win running the ball. Powell played well after being outplayed last week at Ryle. Proud of him and that O Line tonight.
