No chance he is offered or takes it. He may apply if it comes open because coaches have to leave options open, but imo, I don't see him leaving CC for CCH. He will leave CC sometime, but not for CCH.

As far as CCH is concerned the talent is there IMO. Game plan, not so much.

Let me ask this. HHS takes a hit because the perception is that a lot of the boys other sports have diminished due to football. Yes, baseball and bball may be on their way up now, but we are talking about past results. My question is...is it coaching or could it be the dedication of the kids to football. I don't mean do they want to play and work hard, I mean do they have several kids that play other sports too? I have no idea...just asking. Because if that's the case and they are trying to compete with kids that live, breath and eat football year round, it's going to be tough to beat an opponent like that...no matter how good the coach is or how bad the kids want to win. If they are practicing other sports, then they aren't working on football.

I'm not sure if you were referring to me, since you followed mine, but I'm 100% not suggesting he should get whacked.

 

I do think HHS is in his head, and the stuff last night to make it different back-fired. They looked unprepared, tight, and didn't play nearly to their capabilities. I'm certain they'll blow the doors off upcoming opponents, then people will believe the playoff game will be different...then it won't.

 

I think the Basketball team winning state has created a lot of pressure on Dave, probably 90% of which is self-inflicted.

Do you have any idea how many of the kids that played in the game on Friday night for Highlands play multiple sports? Some actually play all 3. Who is to say the kids at CCH are not dedicated to the sport of football. This was one game played between two teams with one ball and someone had to come out of there with an L. I sure hope the Highlands players and coaches do not think this was the state championship game. My bet is they treated it like any other game before, during and after. Lets hope these two teams meet again in the playoffs and then we know that NKY has a pretty good chance of being represented in the championship game again this year.
