IMO there will be some kids over the next couple years choose sports other than football....I know its blasphemy....but just some things I am hearing. There are some really good baseball players coming up.

 

There are 4 kids that would be good football players in the 7th & 8th grade that are staying w/ soccer as well. I know that that isn't a huge number, but I think that it is more than usual.

Ok, now to answer the question, Highlands doesn't have an 8th grade team.

 

I don't know, what Highlands has....... but..... 9/27/14 Camels have then on their schedule.

I can see where they would want to concentrate on baseball the way that program is going! Nothing wrong with that at all.

As far as Bowling Green is concerned, this year and next year will be the time to beat them, after that look out. They have some very special classes on the horizon.

 

Sounds like both BG and CCH will be loaded in the coming years.

I know of 1-2 8th grade studs who are excellent multi-sport athletes and could (optimal word here) opt our of the 24/7 365 football requirements.

Exactly and I'm thinking the ones that really don't want to play won't. I will go the extra step and say that Highlands new coach isn't going to frown too much, because I personally think he wants a smaller team than what he has now....JMO! Doesn't make much sense until you look at it from a $ per player cost to run a program.
