What do the Tigers have to do to knock off the Crusaders? Will St X's defense continue their solid play or will Moeller be able to over power St. X? Last year the Tigers used Charles Walker and their running game to stay within striking distance, will they be able to do that this year or will Noah Houk have to make big plays in the passing game?

Moe in a walkover.

I'm very interested in this game as a CovCath fan.

Go Tigers!

Did you attend the Moeller/Cov Cath game? Any scouting report on Moeller?

After seeing them play two years in a row, I don't think they are quite as good as last year- but that's not saying much as they are still very very good. All incredibly physical and fast. Two big tight ends. Speedy RB. QB won't beat you much with his feet, but very nice arm and manages game well. Their run defense is nasty. Could be more susceptible to the pass game if you know where the spots are.

Actually I didn't. I listened to most of it. CovCath had opportunites to score, and moved the ball a decent a out for being shut out. For the most part, we were outmatched, but I don't think we were necessarily "dominated."

Moeller is very, very good.

Moeller in a walkover. This may be the second shutout of the Tigers this season. The Crusaders will be the toughest opponent St. Xavier faces this season.

Didn't Charles Walker of X have a big game rushing last year? Does Moe have anything close to an Achilles Heel on defense? Can X possibly run on them?

Would shock me if they had sustained success running against Moeller. Throwing maybe.

Walker had a huge game last year rushing for over 200 yards. The probably was that was their only offense as they could not punch the ball into the end zone.

Big game for the Tigers!!! If (Yes, I know its a BIG word...) the Tigers can come away with a W, just might be the spring board they need for the remainder of the season. Really need to see difference making ability demonstrated in Offense (running and passing), Defense (capturing more TO's) and Special Teams getting on the scoreboard... With the Bowling Green game the only blemish on the record, Tigers are better than advertised, just need to have a game where it all comes together!!!!!

Go Tigers!!!

This will be a big game for the Tigers. The key for St. X will be their ability to convery on 3rd down. I'm assuming that Moeller will be very big upfront, so the offense can not put the defense in bad spots. Convert on 3rd down and don't turn the ball over and they give themselves a chance to knock of the #24 team in the country.

Need a win this week to get back on track and gain confidence. My support for Saint X will never waiver but would like to see us make some progress on the field this week.

Go Tigers

Should be a good game but I think MOE is too big and to much of a well oiled machine.. While I'm sure St x will look good at times, they get rolled on. MOE by 25.
