September 14, 201412 yr Author Anyone know the reason he left? It said in the article that "he wanted to pursue other things."
September 16, 201412 yr Green has left the Hilltopper program. Does anybody have any info on why he left? I thought he would be a good fit long term at WKU with Justin Johnson
September 16, 201412 yr That is a shocker. I was thinking this was a great fit for him too. Hope it's nothing bad.
September 16, 201412 yr The transition from HS stud to college frosh is hard. Don't let anyone think just because you were a star in HS that going into a new program with other stars is going to be easy. The workouts/conditioning/practicing are intense and take a HUGE amount of time.
September 16, 201412 yr Wasnt his mom on the reality show following kids and their recruitment. She was really involved with him. I saw her at the KY/OHIO allstar game and she stood out the whole night. Most fans at allstar games dont get into it but she did. She even admitted on the show that she was kicked out of some games. Hate to hear that the kid is homsick for leaving. If thats the case where will he play. Lexington and Bowling Green are not that far away.

September 17, 201412 yr LOL. Most HS kids are trying to get as far away from home as possible. If she was my momma, I'd be in school at Witness Protection University.

September 23, 201412 yr I'd imagine that if you are able to play at WKU right out of high school, then Georgetown is something that would at least be on the table. Not knocking either of them, because I love both programs. I'm just making the point that Georgetown had quite a few runs with kids who left D1 schools sometime in their freshmen season.
September 23, 201412 yr Seems like there is more to the story than just home sick. Mom seemed to be on a mission to promote him. As Good a Georgetown is, WKU is much bigger and has more prestiege. Hard to believe she would want him to go there. Just a thought. Hope wherever he ends up he is happy.
