RAMS ...Get your Mind Right ! You cannot afford another offensive effort like vs. GCHS. Dawson Bryant is a Good football team, you will not get away with making the mistakes of last week.

Lost then how? They quit the football team? Left school? Suspensions?

Suspension, but it looks like all the Raceland brethren are staying tight lipped about it.

Per our terms of service rules, we can't discuss any details of this one in the high school football forum.

There has been one person released. That's all. No one else has been affected in any way.

Hate it for the kid. We all made stupid choices in our teenage years. Hope he learns from it.

I just wanted to add that after reading the paper today that although I don't know the whole story that I fully support Coach Salmons. A coach, imo has Nothing if he doesn't have discipline. There are rules, line that a player knows and should they cross the line then there has to be a penalty to be paid.

Again, I don't know what happened and frankly when you get down to it I don't need to know.

NO one Man makes a "Team" ! I don't care who it is !

RAMS.....Step it up and move on. Raceland is a football "program" / "Team". So, It's "Next RAM up" - take the place of the missing player and move on as a "Team".

Another good day of practice.

I was reading a paper and I don't think that their should be a specific name listed in the article when it comes to a high school kid being dismissed from a team.

I agree 100% :thumb:, a coach has rules, the team members and parents know those rules. I feel strongly that's where it should stay ....in house.

Today and Thursday left in prep for Dawson -Bryant ! Rams -- FOCUS....Know Your Job, DO YOUR JOB !....NO Excuses !

Execute !!

Man, I hope so, too!!!! LOL They are as big and physical a team that we will face all year. Going to be a tough game.

I have mixed feeling on it, but I lean toward releasing his name is part of the accountability that he has to face and probably should be done. Too often we protect people to the point that they know not everyone will find out about their transgressions. Maybe by printing the name it will be a mild deterrent by others not wanting their name released in this manner.
