I have mixed feeling on it, but I lean toward releasing his name is part of the accountability that he has to face and probably should be done. Too often we protect people to the point that they know not everyone will find out about their transgressions. Maybe by printing the name it will be a mild deterrent by others not wanting their name released in this manner.

I agree 100%.

You make a good point but under 18 I wonder about the legality of it.

I hadn't picked in this one but after some in house trouble this week I think, certainly hope that other Rams will step up and this team will bond even tighter to get it done.

It's odd to not see more posting on a Raceland thread. I guess you guys saw where Aaron Snyder has selected Coal Grove as the winner? Does that not at least cause some BGP bantering on here???

I've got a funny feeling about this game. I'm not sure the offense is where it needs to be, which is bad enough, but now you throw the whole player dismissed thing on top of it, just not a good feeling. Guys we'll see tomorrow.

RAMS .....How Bad do you Want it ??

A.E.P. !!!

(Attack Every Play)

Not enough excitement on the schedule for it Doc.When you get past the Ashland game you have a bunch of blow outs lined up.Im a football nut,if you can't keep me excited then I don't know how the kids are getting excited?i know I'm going to catch flack over my comments but we are playing the 5th game of the season and I'm not into it at all.Same teams every year with same results. Ok guys let me have it!!!!

You guys worry about the schedule too much. You can't play Highlands & Johnson Central every week, and it's a lot tougher to get a schedule made than you think.

Just because you aren't excited about an opponent doesn't mean it's not a quality game for the team. And if a kid isn't excited to play every week then he needs to find something else to do.

If they could add two quality teams that aren't overpowering, I'd be for dropping East Carter & Boyd Co.

I have mentioned this a few times before, our schedule is tough to fill. There are some local teams that will not schedule us or have in the past and have dropped us. Ironton has to drop us due to their new conference starting next year. Never fear, we have 4 teams next year; Sheldon Clark, West Carter, Russell and Lucasville Valley. We are losing Ironton, Coal Grove, Boyd County and Nicholas County. I don't take negative comments about our schedule as bad. We have been playing at a high level for a while and our loyal fans expect bigger and better. I like the challenge.

Exactly TCA, I am all in on playing a tough schedule but there has to be some lighter games. Raceland has the reputation for playing a very tough schedule, especially for the size school that we are. As a matter of fact, Raceland plays as tough or more difficult schedule than some of the 3A teams in our area. Instead of trying to get more of the big schools, I would not be opposed, actually in favor of scheduling some very good 1A and/or 2A programs around the region - state. After all, Raceland is a 1A school and the Rams aren't going to have to go through Highlands or Lex Cath to get a state title. I would love to see maybe a NKY school, maybe even a WKY school on the slate. Could try and get a home/home with a WKY / NKY school, schedule on a Sat. due to longer travel time. Maybe a Beechwood / Newport / NCC / Frankfort or someone along those lines. :idunno:

Playing weaker teams really isn't a bad idea as long as you don't play them every week like the school in West Ashland did every season, up until a few years ago. That team now plays a couple of good teams anyway and not the sisters of the poor jr. varsity and some powder puff teams every week. A team has to have balance on the scheduling, jmo.

GAMEDAY !

RAMS ........If you read closely there are those that are doubting you, implying that you will fold bc of some controversy ! WHAT Do You Have to Say About That ?

BOND Together as Brothers or Fold, run with your tail between your legs - IT'S Your Choice ALL IN !

Play RACELAND RAM FOOTBALL !!

NO PRISONERS !!

I agree with some of what you say Oldrambler. But for the Rams to get to where they want to be all of the "we are just a one A team " has got to stop.I don't cRe how many A's you have to determine your school size bad football is just bad football.I don't hang my hat on how many big schools we are playing because they all are pretty bad.Im not saying play Highlands and JC that would be silly.Ive watch a lot of Raceland teams over the years and they all have one thing in common. The get worse as the season moves on because lack of competition. You can't forget the first two rounds of the playoffs are against some pretty bad teams and it's going to get worse if Fairveiw can't give the Rams some competition.I don't agree with your comment about the Rams playing a tuff schedule, they just don't.I believe if took a look at the win and loss total of the teams the played the last three years you would see what I mean.IDK guys I guess I just don't agree but still have nothing but respect for all the Ram fans on here.At least now we are talking Doc.

^^ No problem Ramdad, I don't mind someone disagreeing as long as it's done respectful and your post is certainly that. I try and respect everyone's opinion on here. Besides, if we all agreed all the time then it would get pretty boring :lol2: :thumb:
