Murray had a good game plan, run the ball, get 1st downs, control the clock and in the 1st half that's what they did. Murray has a big offensive line and they moved the ball effectively in the 1st half holding Mayfield to 3 possessions. Mayfield got the lead and that changed things some and with a timely Murray fumble, Mayfield iced the game. Good effort by Murray, I think Mayfield only had 7 possessions in the game.

Tough night for the cards, with all the stuff going on this week. I'm sure they had a hard time focusing on this game tonight after losing a classmate today. Still showed lots of grit to comeback and get another win. I don't think Murray will go down easily in 2A again this year, they are better than I was expecting. I think that may have been the fastest game I have ever seen. I think the first half only took 40 min. to play. Murray definitely executed their game plan on both sides of the ball. Hats off to them! Congrats to the cards for the win, and GO BIG RED!

Nice final drive by the Cardinals tonight. Nice play call to Bacon on 3rd down at the end to finish it off. 3 passing touchdowns tonight no rushing touchdowns...very versatile team.

Murray executed well. The first drive almost took the entire 1st quarter and they scored on it. Kept Cards off the field. Mayfield adjusted well at halftime and came out strong. Reminded me of last years game. Mayfield had a hard blow today with the tragic loss of a classmate this morning. The focus had to be tough... They fought through it though.

Murray has the style of offense to play most teams close, it's like basketball teams that hold the ball and stay in games that they shouldn't. Look what they did to Caldwell last year. I do like the new twists they have put on the old school offense though. Kinda looks like a hybrid shotgun wing t. It's weird seeing the o-line with zero splits to me.

If you going to slow the game down, like Murray did, you also need to know how to pick up the pace when it's late and you're losing. Like last year, Mayfield was the better team in the 2nd half when it counted the most.

Murrays a heck of a 2a team. Big, strong line and some really strong RBs that are tough to bring down. They are passing the ball a little more effectively than in the past, but, still not there strong suit. Solid defensively and physical. They'll be a tough out in the playoffs. Mayfield's schedule really tests all facets of there team and prepares them well for the playoffs. This version of the Cardinals is proving to be a versatile bunch. They can beat you in a variety of ways and play different style games and still find ways to win.

Not a pretty game if your a cardinal fan. Looked a lot like the cardinals of old, 3 yards and a cloud of dust for the tigers. Very well executed game plan for Murray. I'm not sure if Murray is a top 5 team in 2A or not, but if they are I would say 2A is weak.
