How do you figure? Just like last year, they played no one early and racked up cheap wins. When it came time to prove themselves in their district, the wheels fell off. This year will be no different. The Cooper game will be a good measure if I'm right or not. Have them play someone of relevance and then we shall see where they stack up.

I wouldn't say they are top 10...yet. Cooper is going to be a big game, but even a win I'm not sure makes them a top 10 team, because there are still question marks about Cooper. To me, they've got to beat Cooper and South Oldham to be considered a true top 10 team. I think much of the optimism comes from the fact that many folks thought this team would be bad this year with the loss of so many seniors. They may not be top 10, but they certainly aren't bad. Remember, most thought they would lose to Newport or barely slip by, and many considered Newport a top 10 2A team.

 

But people need to stop beating on Scott about the schedule. Yes it could be better. But considering this program's history, and the fact that the wins are helping to generate interest and improve numbers, the schedule is right where it needs to be. They wouldn't win state this year if they had played SK, Highlands and Cov Cath the first 3 games, and all the momentum of the last 2 years would be lost. The schedule is beefed up considerably starting next year, which is perfect considering that most of this current year's team is coming back. I expect them to make a run in 4a next year.

You can't be serious right now. You need to relook the films and take notes. 71 nor 70 can stop him 1on1 but double teams are part of the game. I bet you can ask any scott linemen at the end of the year and ask them who was the hardest competition they went up against. I bet you Breandon Johnson is on the top of the list.

Just for your info #71 Gage Tucker who is only 14 blew Johnson up quite a bit last night so how old is Johnson again? I look to see bigger and better futures for Gage and Ron Rice. Those boys play and start both sides of the ball and you never see them taking plays off. I give credit to the conditioning from Scotts coaching.
