Based on what I've seen from your jv and freshman squads the last 2 years, I'd say more the level of Boone and Ryle! Face it, the talent level in Ft. Thomas has dropped significantly in the last 3 years.

With Ryle, at the freshman level, you can see they there is talent. Have not seen the same with HHS. Kids are small and slow.

So what about the other questions? A 3 year drop off in talent should change the varsity results, right? The first drop off freshman team would be Seniors now. How do you explain the fact that they are still pretty good?

Actually I don't even need you to explain one of your points in order to shoot it down. Ft. Thomas is actually not landlocked, as it borders the Ohio River. I am not sure if this is intentional ignorance, or if it is just that solid Simon Kenton education showings its colors. Get a map.

 

Land locked is a term to describe a school district that has no ability to expand or grow from a physical standpoint. For example Boone and Campbell County have growth potential and undeveloped land to build many more houses. Most of the independent districts are land locked (Newport, Highlands, Bellevue, etc) due to no real huge amounts of area to develop new property, which in turn, brings in new families. Giving him that point, I do not think anyone in the Fort Thomas System is worried about this. You have a majority home owner community (as opposed to a rental based community which has high turn over) that has very stable families and generations of families. AND IF the school system saw on enrollment drop then they could re open for tuition students and fill right back up again.

SK is better at football than Highlands now!

U may need to find a new hobby because at this point no one takes you serious except your other SK buddies. NOW I GET IT! FINALLY! Its no wonder UKFan and the others have been so confused. We don't list our District and Regional championships on our our banners. No wonder they think they are better. Without listing them, it appears they have more districts and regions than us. Makes total sense now! I'm calling Dale and getting those added and maybe it will clear up some of the confusion.

I would think that any person that cares about their program would respond the same way. Any time I see someone who gets off on attempting to belittle a program for winning championship, I think to myself, man, this guy must have been picked on in middle school.
