keyplayer Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice win for the Birds after losing a scrimmage to the Camels earlier in the season.
AllenR Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 1 red card against the camels relatively early in the game. Have to give the camels some credit for holding it to just 2 goals while down a player. Lost count of the yellow cards. I think HHS had 1 and the Camels somewhere between 2 -4 inclusive of the coach. Outstanding PK stop by HHS goalie.
Jack of all Trades Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I was told that there was almost as much action in the stands as there was on the field. What happened?
lawildcat Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I was told that there was almost as much action in the stands as there was on the field. What happened? Cake Eaters causing trouble again?! :jump:
AllenR Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Don't know. Didn't see or hear anything from the stands. I was by the field taking pictures. The play on the field was pretty physical. I can imagine parents/fans on both sides getting a little bent out of shape. I didn't hear much out of the student section either.
Jack of all Trades Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Where are the Camel faithful????? Wondering what there take was of the action on the field and in the stands.

To clarify, bent out of shape about the lack of consistent calls. Both teams held their own. IMHO, I think the camels may have just been a bit more obvious about it - drawing more penalties. Wish I had been closer to see what happened to trigger the red card.

My bet is a shot to the head/face or quite possibly language. One was evident the other we would have no idea.
Buddy1968 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Doesn't CC already have their goalie sitting due to a red card or was that who got the red card last night?
Jack of all Trades Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Doesn't CC already have their goalie sitting due to a red card or was that who got the red card last night? I had heard that last night they were playing with a backup keeper because their keeper had been given a red card against Scott whenever that game took place.
Buddy1968 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Wow!!! Saw them play last year and didn't think they could get much rougher but I guess I was wrong. The only thing rougher than the players were the parents.
RCC9 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Cake Eaters causing trouble again?! :jump:  I wasn't there!
AllenR Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I wasn't there! Nobody mentioned the "All A tournament" on here.
imsays Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Don't know. The play on the field was pretty physical. I can imagine parents/fans on both sides getting a little bent out of shape. It's big girl soccer, was it physical yes, but it was well played and I'm sure most of the players prefer it that way. CC did well considering they were down a player early in the game and were short some key players including the keeper,
Buddy1968 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Physical is ok and actually preferred so the strongest team wins. Multiple red cards over the course of a few games sounds like more that "big girls" soccer.
