I understand why Goodin and Wright are #1 and #2 but give me Carson Williams all day long. Word up.

I am always puzzled by some of the height estimates in these lists. I watched Kel McClendon play all summer -- the only way he's 6'1" is if he's wearing a pair of circa-1975 platforms.

^^^ ???

Overall, I don't think it's too bad of a list. I'm focusing primarily on the top 20. I do think that Boone, Snapp and Dalton should all be in the top 20 though.

Nice to see Darius Williams of Dunbar and Cameron Thomas of Madison Central moving up. People should remember Darius Williams' name if they don't know it already.

I'm asking earnestly, where do people see the problems with this list? Obviously, I haven't seen all of the kids play, but I'd imagine that, just based on things like offers, college interest, and performance on the AAU circuit, that 1-10, most of the kids who should be in the top 10 are. I can understand if people would order them differently, but it's not like any of those names just jumped off the page at me as being grossly wrong.

I can understand people wanting to see Williams higher, but you'd have to think that Goodin and Wright were going to be a solid #1 and #2 before the lists came out.

What are the big problems with the list? I'm just asking because I'm curious.

Ethan Snapp is going to end up being top 10-15 when it's all said and done...I know of multiple D1 coaches who have reached out and shown legit interest.

Best scorer in the state for his class, IMO.

I've seen most of that list and I'd take him over atleast 8 kids ahead of him.

Several who are overrated and simply ranked where they are because of exposure when they were younger.

No major argument from me. Like you said, those listed as top 10 - it's generally hard to argue against any of them.

I'd probably switch the order of some of those but that's just based on my personal opinion. I think the top 4 are locks. For instance, some say Wright should be #1. For me, the remaining 6 (5-10) could be ranked differently based on who you're talking to.

Again, overall a pretty solid ranking.

I am familiar with most of these players, but I am not familiar with Mason Faulkner from Caverna. Can anyone share what his game is like, etc? Thanks.

I'll also add, it seems that this list is made with a deference to collegiate potential above all else (for instance, the kids who have collegiate size for their positions are listed higher). The website itself seems to be based on high school athletes as college prospects. Does evaluating it in that regard change anything?

Scoring point guard. Good shooter, great at creating shots. Plays for Team Manimal in the summer.

Thanks very much.
