The list looks good. Class A is tough early in the season with a lot of games against bigger schools. One team that has been out of the mix for a while is Campbellsville. The next few weeks will yell, but they seem poised to take that next step... Good Luck this week to All Class A programs...

Campbellsville has looked impressive thus far, wouldn't be surprised to see them sneak into the top ten soon.

Looks pretty fair. Pikeville well deserving of the 5 spot. Raceland played well enough I would put them above Russellville right now. I think hazard and Russellville are interchangeable right now. Hazard also lost starter Jacob Blanton in the first quarter of the pikeville game and he did not return.

With what WBurg has returning, I think they at least deserve to be in top 3. They've done everything they should have up to this point. I also think Pikeville has 2 quality wins and should be at #4.

and if Pikeville is at #4 then I assume Mayfield, Frankfort or Beechwood is going to drop to atleast #5.

Holy Cross (Louisville) hosts Providence (IN) this week. Last season they lost 27-0 @ Providence. They allowed 323 rushing yards to Matt Bell and failed to convert a 26-yard field goal... or score from the 3-yard line.

 

The Cougars will need to shore up their defense and improve their passing game . Last season the Pioneers limited Holy Cross to 89 yards rushing. The Cougars are coming off a 59-8 rout of Ft. Knox.
