Do you think Cooper will be able to shut down NCC running game. Just read an article about Smith in the paper, seems like he will be a thorn in some teams behinds this yr.

 

I think it will be a challenge for the defensive unit of Cooper as they will have to play sound, disciplined football in order to stop that running attack. #3 for NewCath is very talented and can be very dangerous if he is given open lanes.

Don't know if you are familiar with NCC, but isn't their starting QB out for the year with a broken leg? Are they turning to the younger QB or the older one? Not that it matters, just heard it through the roomer mill and was curious to know.

If memory serves me correct this is the same style offense they were running when they went to state. If I had Cordell-Armstrong, I'd give him the ball 30 times a game too. That kid can play.

When they went to state, they had a TOTAL team effort . Cordell gives them a good running game, but sooner or later the ball has to go in the air beyond 10 or 15 yards to get that far.
