6th team foul on NCC next one puts CovCath in the bonus, and CCH doesn't miss much

Rebounds NewCath 13 CovCath 11 According to CovCath radio

26-23 CovCath at halftime

As far as I can tell Newport Catholic has 12 turnovers in their 4 losses and only one in their 2 wins. In order to improve during district play they will certainly have to get better at this phase of the offensive game to make a deep run in the playoffs. Congrats to Conner on a solid win. They certainly have a tough road in 6A ahead of them but 4-1 is something to definitely be proud of and a great start to the year.

Great game by both teams, NewCath was able to overcome a bunch of their own penalties. Newport fumbled 3 times inside their own 30 yard line. Definitely a game-changer. I'm sure Newport's coaching staff will improve that moving forward. Congrats to the wildcats on a great season, they look to be really building something promising there. Good luck to NewCath on the long trip down to eastern KY
