The Eteamz.com shows only a proposed schedule for football, volleyball, and boys & girls basketball at the beginning of their seasons. I have never seen standings or a score on that site for any sport. The only way that you can get ANY information for these events is to search forums.

I am one of the Twenhofel coaches that everyone would like to hear from. Let me start by saying that we try to teach things about football and life that are way more important than the score of a football game. I along with all of our coaches have been around this great game for a very long time. We all have seen kids throw up before games, during games, after games, at practice you name it. You claim nerves are the reason. I have never seen a player still nervous in the 3rd quarter with a 34-6 lead! We have no problem with the vomit, do it in a trash can, the weeds, bathroom, anywhere except the field of play and on yourself. We have to protect our players from whatever, PERIOD...

I am not going to down play Ludlow at all, they should win the small school division with ease. Do yourself a favor and stop feeling like everyone is out to get poor ole Ludlow, that's not the case. Many of my friends and family have coached for your program, all are very good guys.

We played that game with all 6th and 7th grade players, we had several 6th graders starting and Ludlow without a doubt has a very good team this year. With that being said, do you think that we really thought we had a shot of winning that game? Our goal was to keep it respectable. After the 3rd quarter vomit issue, our coaching staff decided that we had to step in and protect our kids if the referees and Ludlow's staff were not going to. We brought it to the white hats attention several times before that and he did nothing. We met at the 50 yard line with Ludlow's coaches who absolutely refused to remove the kid from the game, including the varsity coach. 34-6 lead, great sportsmanship guys. You had 20 players out there that day, no other player can play tailback for a few plays while he changes his clothes? 34-6 and our starters are on the sideline, time to get some of the other kids some reps. I understand that not all staffs believe in the same things, to each there own. To rjs440, thank you for your comments. Woodland asked us if we minded letting the kid you are talking about score a touchdown, kuddos to them for even asking. WE said ABSOLUTELY, put him in now. I believe we were up 3 touchdowns at that time and had our 2's in. After the kick-off, we threw an interception which made it a 6 point game, who cares... Hopefully it made that kid feel good about himself if even for just a little while, I know it did for us and we would be happy to do it again even if we were only winning by 1 touchdown. It's more than a game guys, it's life.

 

You must not have paid much attention coach the player did change his uniform he ran the last touchdown which I may add again is when you guys made the big deal about him being in the game wearing the #54 not his original jersey #40! And as for your 1's being on the sideline at the time of the score being 34-6? Is false you coaches had your whole team on the sidelines wasting time outs not wanting to play with him in the game! Second off he threw up once on the field I can't count how many people I've seen throw up on a football field and no one complain about it as for the other times they happened on Ludlows sidelines! As for the comeback Yes I truly believe you guys could have simply because he is Ludlows middle linebacker and best offensive threat! Your team scored on ludlow early in the game with him in whereas no other team this year has done that so of course your good enough to score with him in your good enough to come back with out him in! One more thing don't ever call ludlow out about sportsmanship that is one thing we instill into the kids down here in this small little program we take our lumps week in and week out and we still walk out with our heads high saying good game just like every other team! Face the facts your kids got beat and you didn't like it therefore you pulled your kids off the field refusing to play one player! Done arguing about this thread good luck to all northern Kentucky middle school teams in there playoff journeys!

I would have posted more, but they started sending them out in some alien format that no one could open.

So okay folks, for many of the parents and guardians for the NKMSAA football kids this could be the last day of the year. It's also the first day of good football weather. Since the first day of practice back in hot July 2 1/2 months ago till today this might just be your 8th and final game. Even though you probably know who your team is playing and how they did, aren't you curious about the other teams? Will Ludlow 7&8th get a rematch with Twenhofel 6&7th or will my cc 8th grade team avenge all their losses this year and win the large school championship? Tichnor stands in their way!

Are Walton and Beechwood set up to meet in the middle division?

Maybe I'm just ate up with this but after 2 1/2 months of cleaning uniforms, making sure my player is properly nourished, driving to and watching practice & games, am I wrong to be curious about how our teams are doing compared to other teams?

From Twenhofel last night: 8th grade large school playoffs- Twenhofel beat Summit View pretty good. It was something like 41-7. In the 2nd game, Campbell County beat Woodland 14-0. Both teams played well but the Camels pretty much controlled the entire game and were never threatened. #34 for Woodland is a good looking player and should do well at the next level. #12 for Campbell controlled the game defense.

By complete chance, I stumbled onto this website and saw that my son was mentioned on this thread and I felt the need to respond. I am the father of the Woodland child that Twenhofel arranged for him to score a touchdown. I was sitting in the stands in the 4th quarter and, to my surprise, my son was running down the sidelines for a 60 yard touchdown. It was a great moment for our family and my son loved the opportunity. I am amazed that Twenhofel coaches were more than willing to allow him to have this opportunity during regulation! I would like to thank Twenhofel coaches and parents for giving him this once in a lifetime opportunity. I was not a part of the Ludlow/Twenhofel event, but from my experience, the Twenhofel coaches sincerely are committed to the kids and there gesture to my son was nothing but class. Thanks for being a true class organization!

How awesome it was for us to be a part of that game. I could tell by his smiles after the game how excited he was. We wish him the best. Football is more than a game in many of our eyes.
