All of the old 40-0 talk in college basketball got me to thinking...

Which Kentucky High School team has the best chance to go 15-0 this season?

That's a tough one this year....

Off the top of my head the most likely subjects:

DeSales- Warren Central will be tough but they beat them last year..pre-season #1 in 2A

Scott County- Favorable schedule..should be favored every week

Highlands- Always a threat

Bourbon County- Pre-Seaosn #2 3A team...one game I see as a tossup in the regular season in Warren Central...otherwise a favorable region until the Semi's

If Trinity played only in-state, what would their record be? NCC doesn't have to play up against local 5A and 6A teams. I think a lot of teams could go undefeated in regular season if they wanted to.

Well, that can be said for a lot of teams, but the question is, "with the schedule they have, what team will go 15-0?".

No one will go 15-0 this season. But if I had To pick 1 I think Mayfield has the best chance.

I think DeSales has the best chance but I wouldn't be surprised if no one gets it this year

Mayfield has four tough games against higher class schools - McCracken County, Paducah Tighlman, Graves County and Caldwell County. 15-0 will be tough for them.

As others have said, going 15-0 is perhaps more about the schedule than how good a team is.

True. Their schedule is tougher than I thought.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bowling Green, I heard they were on a little "streak".

I can't believe we haven't heard........SIMON KENTON.

In my case the combination of the loss of all that talent, the pressure of the streak, and the talented teams on their schedule kept me from going with them.

Unlike the past several years I don't know if there is a clear cut favorite to go 15-0 this season...don't sleep on Caldwell Co., they could pull it off but they have a couple of big road blocks like most others do.
