I was told second hand that Aaron, his dad, and Coach Griffith are meeting today. Again, second hand.

You talk about how Olmstead, Moss, McClure, etc. left the program and Floyd stayed... He is staying not by choice. You know as well as I do he wants to be somewhere else. Floyd might as well be gone in his mind.

 

Olmstead was never gonna go to Boone anyway......everyone knew he was gonna play varsity at SK.

Had the coaching change occurred two years sooner, he would have stayed.

My point is why reinstate someone who doesn't want to invest in the program? It's clear he wants nothing to do with it. The only reason it's desperate now is because it's his only option.

 

When you go 0-10 the year before every stone should be overturned. Normally the coach has the upperhand in a case like this BUT when you go 0pher you have to consider letting him comeback. Have a meeting be stern direct and honest but if you care for the senior class and the program in general let him play because a month or so from now if he comes out and has a couple of big games and helps the team everyone will be glad he came back. THE PLAYER AND SECRETLY THE COACH.
