2014 Highlands Football Glance

Featured Replies

I heard last night they were rethinking the whole idea of opening it up to the community to use as their fitness center because of the logistics of trying to coordinate times when students would not be utilizing the facilities to allow the community to workout.

Back to the 2014 Highlands team, after watching practice with pads on does anyone anticipate any player going both ways this year?

Just curious why you would ask the question as to whether or not anyone will play both ways? Is there something that you are seeing or not seeing?

Last pic from yesterday. Can't wait to see what it looks like after today!

On second thought I would like to table this specific question until after the first scrimmage, its tough to make a determination based solely on team practice.

Isn't Bo Hebel going to play some D also?

From what I understand there will be no one playing both ways except in certain situations.

Does the team have a legitimate running back for this year?

Nope... all are illegitimate.

They always do, it's just that recent QB play has overshadowed them. Kendall averaged 11 ypc in limited action, not sure who's in the rotation so far.

Can you elaborate on what you mean?

Nope... all are illegitimate.

Be nice JB...

I am sure what endzone 2 is trying to say is does Highlands have that "traditional stud" running back, or the "go to" guy or the "2yds and a cloud of dust" kind of a guy.

This yrs running back position is going to be very similar to last yrs receiving corps imo, lots of fresh legs and talent.

There are 3 very different style types of RB this yr for Highlands and each will bring their respective talents to the table this yr which will create lots of matchup problems.

This will be a very talented and explosive Offense this yr and I will not go into a whole lot of detail for obvious reasons. :thumb:

Speaking of which, at what time are you guys watching? I haven't seen a time posted for the scrimmage.
