Who all returns?

McDonald, Weyer, G Moeves, Pangallo.

I look for the Anderson twins to log some significant minutes.

They will be a force in the 9th.

All 4 of these players are flat out studs.... and their team is very well coached.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Coach Dawn's grandson, freshman Steven Pangallo, log some varsity minutes.

They'll have another good year and flame out in the regional like every year. I look for Holmes to win the 9th this year.

As I said in another thread...NewCath will be the unanimous #1 team in the region and heavy favorites. Holmes, CovCath, Dixie, and possibly Cooper are clearly behind NC by a considerable margin.

^ What about Boone County?

I expect NCC to come out of the 9th. Whole lot of firepower returning from a team that was very strong a year ago.

I've seen them all play and, while I like NCC this year, I think CCH is the clear #1... and I'm not so certain that NCC is even 3rd. I guess we'll find out in a few months.

I would be interested in hearing how you rank the 9th. I know you can't put a ton of stock in summer ball, however NCC destroyed Holmes and Dixie. Beat Cooper twice.

This should be interesting..........

Dixie had 4 varsity players at their game against NCC... and 4 other kids who will be lucky to see JV minutes, one of them may not even make the team. Chevy played generous minutes to the 4 other kids. I would not put much stock in that scrimmage. Coaches and teams approach the summer games different. They show nothing.

The issue I see with NCC this year is their lack of depth. After their "big 4" there is a serious dropoff. CCH has very, very good depth coming in from last year's JV team. I think when its all said and done that either Cooper or Dixie may end up being the #2 team.

You didn't give us how you would rank the teams.

IMO Dixie isn't close to NCC. NCC is much stronger at almost every position. Point Guard, Post, and Experience. I would be impressed if Dixie stayed within 20. Dixie couldn't do it with Hatton and they surely don't have anyone with Hatton's ability on this team. NCC returns too much. No team in the 9th can match up with McDonald and Weyer down low and I love Pangallo's game.

Again, IMO, this is a two dog race. I want to say that NCC is the clear favorite, however until they beat CCH, its tough to do.

Everyone will question whether or not NCC has depth. One thru five they are the best in the 9th. I agree the Anderson's will surprise many and the Freppon kid plays with a ton of heart and rebounds. The younger Moeves can contribute and log some varsity minutes.

Who on Dixie can guard McDonald? Pangallo? Weyer? McDonald/Pangallo might be the best guard/big combo in the state.

Please give us your ranking.

Based on my replies to this thread I don't think its too difficult to piece together how my top 5 would rank.... or, maybe for you it is??
