I prefer black but I get why the politically correct term of African American is used. I was born in Houston, Texas. I don't feel like I qualify as an African American.

Nah, we moved to BG when I was 3 and I have been a resident of KY for all but 7 years of my soon to be 40 years on this planet. Kentucky-American would be more appropriate. :D
