Cunningham and Tagoloa did 75 percent of the scoring in the games I saw. Perhaps I caught him on a bad night.

I really liked Chisolm when I saw them. Kid got after it defensively and wreaked havoc in their pressure.

 

I didn't see them a ton, but I get the impression that outside of Cunningham and maybe Catchings, they were hit or miss as to what you'd see. Just really up and down, played a lot of kids, really up tempo, so they'd have a lot of shuffling, foul trouble, etc.

 

I also didn't see them with Chapman and Ortiz too.

Keita is a stud though. People saw his height and would forget he's an 8th grader. As in, like only 13 or 14 years old but 7 feet tall and coordinated.

 

Here's a highlight tape of him at John Lucas' Middle School Camp:

 

Show me an 8th (he was probably in 7th then) who is that big but has that kind of coordination and you have the makings of a kid that has serious potential to end up in the NBA.

 

The above is him against the best of the best middle schoolers.

 

Last year, I really thought he struggled to communicate with his teammates (especially early on in the year) because his English wasn't great, but now that he's been here for a full year and probably has more nuances figured out... people are probably going to start appreciating how talented he really is.

 

 

Watch the video, then realize he still has 5+ years from that time before he even enters college... yea... scary good.

"Luka Stojicevic: 6'2 guard, Belgrade, Serbia. Really crafty point guard that can score! Has trouble with the physicality of the game but is getting stronger!

 

Luka Catic: 6'9 F/C Belgrade, Serbia. A project! He has shown signs of improvement throughout the summer. The weight room is a must for him to be successful. He is very versatile with his ability to step out and shoot the 3.

 

Nene Kiasemo: 6'4 F Amsterdam, Netherlands. Did not play with the team much during the summer,

If he returns he will be the most athleic player in the 14th. He is a slasher who can extend defenses with his ability to shoot the 3. He is able to put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. Very aggressive and very versatile as he is strong enough to play the 5 and quick enough to guard the 1.

Braxton Beverly and Damon Tobler should get more credit than y'all are giving them. Braxton might end up being the top overall player. Tobler ends up right there with everyone else at the end of the year. I think he might be just as good or better than Christon is right now.

Damon is really athletic. Didn't play as much last year as he probably should have, but he just moved to the area last season. When they played really good competition, he was a kid who could still do his thing.

 

Now that Johnson and Toomer are gone, it's Da-Man's time to get his shine on. He will be one of the best players in the 14th next season hands down.

Cornett is a dandy. He'll be one of the top players not only in basketball but baseball as well. Baseball maybe his best sport.
