June 15, 201412 yr Not really. Bruce's best season was 34 HR's. Dunn has hit that many or more for 9 seasons. At Bruce's current age Dunn had 4 100 RBI seasons. Bruce has 1. Bruce's best OBP is .353. Dunn had a better OBP than that every one of his first 11 seasons in the league. Adam Dunn is one of the most under appreciated Reds players ever. Bruce is a poor mans Adam Dunn. Doesn't quite have the numbers, not quite the paycheck, and just short of Dunns epic slumps. Oh wait Bruce plays on winning baseball teams. Oh Snap!!!

Look I know his production was very good, his contract along with a couple of others killed the team. But it does seem to follow him. D backs were in 1st when he arrived and oops! Nats never any good with him> Sox have yet to have a winning season with him. But dudes making a cool 15 mil. which is stupid.
