Last year was an awesome game!

Last year's game had me longing for the days of 3 yards and a cloud of dust. Only thing good at last year's game was the concession stand.

More like pick 6 and celebration!

LOL. Blake Bir must still be having night mares over last years game.

I think Blake's dreaming about a few more important things up at Dayton right now.

I loved the game, was a blast to watch and the kids only had a coup,e practices so you couldn't expect great play.

Any news yet?

I haven't heard a peep

Anybody have any updates on who is playing in this game?

^ The game will feature all of Simon Kenton's Srs vs all star team made up of the rest of NKY. I have the Simon Kenton team winning by at least three scores....

From Skinner:

NKY EAST-WEST FOOTBALL GAME: The Snappy Tomato Pizza East-West All-Star Game presented by UC Health / NovaCare has been scheduled for June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Dixie Heights.

The game features seniors from this past high school football season.

Bellevue's Johnny Poynter and Newport Central Catholic's Dan Wagner are the head coaches for the East, while Beechwood's Noel Rash and Simon Kenton's Jeff Marksberry are head coaches for the West.

Any idea when the rosters will be released?

Anybody have any details yet?

I've heard they are going to turn it into an SK intersquad, since the best 22 kids in NKY play for the Pioneers :isurrender:

Marksberry and Rash on the same sideline should be interesting.

Maybe not 22, but a lot of Pioneers in this one. After all, they were the best team in NKY this past season. The kids deserve it.
