NKY Bandit "Maybe not 22, but a lot of Pioneers in this one. After all, they were the best team in NKY this past season. The kids deserve it."

Should make Tuesday a little more entertaining.

From Skinner:

NKY EAST-WEST FOOTBALL GAME: The Snappy Tomato Pizza East-West All-Star Game presented by UC Health / NovaCare has been scheduled for June 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Dixie Heights.

The game features seniors from this past high school football season.

Bellevue's Johnny Poynter and Newport Central Catholic's Dan Wagner are the head coaches for the East, while Beechwood's Noel Rash and Simon Kenton's Jeff Marksberry are head coaches for the West.

That's a very interesting combination of coaches!

Pretty sure Brenan Kuntz is not playing in the all star game. He is busy getting ready for WKU.

Well... you can't have more than 5 from a team so...

Might want to check your sources.....

Not the part that I was speaking about......

Several kids will miss do to planned vacations and senior trips. The county schools that are making up snow days and forced the game back a week screwed the pooch.

What are you talking about?

I couldn't remember what day it was played last year but I do remember it being in June. Either way it's about the same as last year so I'm sure even without the snow days there still would of been players who would be on vacation etc.

Don't know if a roster will be released or not but I do know some players have been notified already.

Who?

Who?

I don't have a list but the kids from Cooper who will be playing were given paperwork last week to fill out for their contact info for the coaches of the game so they can get a hold of them.
