Actually, I was thinking the same thing. One must have permission or be worthy to wear the H on their helment...Just sayin:thumb:

For the moment, Highlands like many other schools are trying to cut the spending budget and staying local to play teams will save some money.

 

My concern would be whether or not it keeps them sharp and ready for the postseason competition.

 

At Highlands we have always tried to think and play outside the box in an effort to stay ahead of our competition and it has seemed to have paid a few dividends...Just sayn

...and Cardinalsfan will say "schedule somebody". It's coming for sure.

Not from me. I think it's a good schedule and one that, if I were a Bluebirds fan, would be very happy to play. Highlands has made it clear they have no interest in playing Colerain ever again, and why should they? Folks in Highlands don't want to travel to Colerain and they shouldn't have to. Playing Simon Kenton, Cooper, etc. has much more NKY appeal to it.

Looks like 15-16 will be a lot of fun! Since I travel to almost every game it will be easier on the budget for sure! Don't understand scheduling Boone County though; not much competition there.

I understand they have St X and Scott Co on the schedule but I would still have preferred one of the Cinti big schools instead, those games always have such a great atmosphere. I hope the new coach puts BC back into the thick of things in NKY.

Atleast Highland's fills their non conference schedule with 6a teams instead of 2a teams like SK.
