Couldn't have asked for a better game that started with the tarp on the field. Be real nice if I took take a tie as a thread starter instead of a loss. Cueto...wow!

You can throw out all the defensive stats you want but there are few 2nd baseman that are able to turn a slow developing DP like Phillips did last night. The DP to end the inning that CC mentions above had disaster written all over it when Cozart charged and struggled getting it out of his glove. BP lost all momentum and was a sitting duck. His athleticism allowed him to still make a strong throw.
