Is it time for Simon to get a rest to save his arm? Put him on the 15 day when Latos comes back, hold Cingrani in the 5 spot a few more weeks before you send him down.

Ummm, why?

Hes not used to going over 120 innings, and hes getting close. I small rest could save his arm for the whole season.

He's got a rubber arm, you ride him until he tells you otherwise. If Cingrani was anything close to as effective as Simon, you'd have a point, but he's not. He's been awful for the past 2 months.

11 PA's for Votto since returning from injury....He's 5-10 with a BB.....Scrub.

Just hate to burn an option with Cingrani in sending him down, to have to bring him back up in a few weeks.

Why would they have to bring him back up?

Strikeout of Gonzalez and Meso nails Puig trying to steal 2nd.....2-1 Reds heading to the bottom of 6. Simon has been fantastic.

When Simons arm falls off.

When Simons arm falls off.

He's shown zero sign that anything remotely close to that is going to happen. More than likely, he'll stay in the rotation all year, and if he keeps this up, collect a monster payday in the off-season.

UKMF with the jinx as Votto hits into a 4-6-3 next time up. :arghh:

Simon with an awesome job of getting out of a runners on 1st and 3rd with nobody out jam in the top of the 7th. Reds lead 2-1 heading to the bottom of 7.

Big Pasta has 1st and 3rd no outs in the 7th and battles out of it with the big K to end the inning. 2-1 Reds headed to the bottom of the 7th.
