Announcers said something about maybe hurting himself turning a double play. I didn't see anything so have no idea. I think they were speculating too.

Twitter says Turner from LA went in hard attempting to break up the DP.

Simon: 9-3 2.95 ERA....Reds may very well end up with 3 15 game winners this year. When's the last time that happened?

And no .300 hitters. If we could put together hitting with this pitching, it would be a very scary team.

I fully believe Votto will end up at .300 or higher, but yeah, if the offense was even just "serviceable" they'd be a force.

Red had three 14-game winners last year (Leake, Arroyo, Latos.)

You'd have to go back to 1975 to find the last time they had three 15-game winners:

Jack Billingham 15-10 4.11 ERA

Don Gullett 15-4 2.42 ERA

Gary Nolan 15-9 3.16 ERA

Side note-Don Gullett only started 22 games that year!

Really happy how this series turned out. Would of loved 3 of 4, but going 2 and 2 is still nice, considering they were down 0-2

This team is so frustrating! Every time I write them off and can't stand watching them, they pull me back in.

My brother looked at me yesterday after the game and said "Well it looks like the Reds have turned it around for the 14th time this season."

I honestly believe this team is capable of making a run. Do they have a legit shot at the World Series? No, probably not. But I think they can work their way into the playoffs again.

6-5 in June & 9-5 if you include the last 3 days in May.

Votto is back, Latos is coming back on Saturday...

Honestly, if Votto and Bruce start hitting, Meso, Fraz and Billy keep hitting, and we keep getting the pitching we've been getting... Anything could happen.

That's a lot of ifs. But I think it was this time last year the Dodgers were like 10 games under .500 or something right?

True, but they made a really nice addition to their lineup haha!

I don't know if anyone is waiting for me to start the thread (since I didn't lose) but I didn't get us a win either, so I figured let someone else have a shot.

I am also waiting on someone...who is our designated thread starter today.
