I am very excited for Coach Leffew to be named the new head coach! He has been at Lincoln County since 2010 and is very well respected by the players and everyone involved in the program.

 

His experiences of playing on many high school state championship teams, playing 4 years at Louisville and winning bowl games there, AND playing for several NFL teams should serve him well as head coach. He is also a great motivator and IMO the kids will always play hard for him, as he will demand it of them.

 

PLUS.....he is an even better person!!

They are currently advertising openings on the Listserv. Obviously Settles has left and I believe Bobby Leffew may have also went to Boyle County. And Lincoln tragically had an assistant coach die in an automobile accident last season. So I'm guessing there will have to be some new staff brought in.

I think Todd is special teams. I could be wrong, but didn't Jason Todd play at Lincoln? I think he was one of the best punter in the state when he played.
