Reds @ Nationals (May 19th - 21st)

If the Reds knew Chapman was only going to save 85% of his save chances 4 years ago think they would have moved him back to starter? He may have sucked as a starter but he's just like all the rest of the closers except he strikes out a few more batters.

Can you imagine the uproar on here if Broxton would've blown that? Chapman does it, and nothing.

Chapman is fun, he's exciting, must see TV. Elite closer, he is not.

Chapman took a laser off the grill, let's give him a bit of a break. He pitches with a plate in his head. Do you post with one in yours?

Chapman couldn't be a starter, he only has 2 pitches

Hey, I'm all for packaging Chapman and whatever for a bat. The best Red could close.

When you make the kind of money he makes, you don't deserve a break. Everyone in Reds land acts like he's the greatest closer on the planet. It's just not the case. There are a dozen closers in the game right now that convert at a higher clip than he does. That's not elite.

Gee I think I've heard that a time for two over the last few years. :D

That's a new argument. He has never really closed at an elite clip.
