This fall, he will always need to. I'm not sold on him. I may be wrong.

I watched every FSU game this year and he made a bunch of great catches to win games etc. I don't remember many drops. Plus he has the freakish size.

I think he has the potential to be a great player. Would love for the Jags to take him in the 2nd round. There is a good amount of uncertainty there but a very high ceiling.

JW24 you are a Texans fan correct? What would be your dream scenario? Is it just take Clowney and go with it?

Correct.

I think Clowney is the right pick if they don't get an offer they like to move down and take a quarterback. I think they are probably looking to get a QB by making a trade though.

The biggest problem with that is that there doesn't really seem to be a "can't miss" guy in this draft and I'm not really sure who they'll take.

I'd just as soon have a pass rush with Watt and Clowney as I would have Manziel or Bridgewater.

^ From my understanding the Texans want an RG3 package type deal and the only team that wants Clowney that much would be the Falcons. I don't see them doing such a trade so I see them staying at 1 and taking Clowney. Of course he doesn't fit their scheme but with the athleticism he has he can find a way. I see their draft as the one a couple years ago with Mario Williams. They need a QB very badly but with Clowney its gonna be hard to pass up.

Where Johnny Football goes is the most intriguing aspect of this draft IMO.

Monday you had Chris Mortensen reporting that Manziel wouldn't fall further than the Browns at #4.

24 hours later, you have Jay Glazer saying there was absolutely zero chance Manizel goes #4 to the Browns. Said that he couldn't make it any clearer that he was not an option at #4, saying that he (Glazer) was more likely to get picked by the Browns there than Manziel.

So where does he end up?

I get the feeling the Raiders end up taking him.

^ I still dont know how I feel about him. If for some crazy reason my Jags took him at 3 I would be fine with it. If they pass I would also be ok with it. He just so boom or bust for me. I still think he will fully explode as one of the best QB's in the league within 3 years.

My Top 10:

1. Houston - Jadeveon Clowney

2. St. Louis - Greg Robinson

3. Jacksonville - Khalil Mack

4. Cleveland - Sammy Watkins

5. Oakland - Johnny Manziel

6. Atlanta - Jake Matthews

7. Tampa Bay - Blake Bortles

8. New York Jets (via trade) - Mike Evans

9. Buffalo - Taylor Lewan

10. Detroit - Justin Gilbert

If Cleveland take a WR instead of a QB, they deserve to wallow in their own manure for the foreseeable future.

I really want the Browns to take Manziel if he's available. There's no reason not to take him there.

If he's not available then I'd almost trade down a bit.

This draft is gonna be crazy IMO.

There's plenty of reason not to take him. #1 being he's not going to be anything better than average at best.

Watkins is going to be a superstar. When all is said and done, he'll be the best pro from this draft class.

High likelihood they could end up with both. Watkins/Evans at 4, and then everyone has top QB's falling. They're already at 26. Could trade up a few slots if they think they need to...

Personally, I think if Cleveland wants a WR and a QB, you take one of the elite level WR's at 4, then see who's there out of Bortles, Bridgewater, and Carr at 26...

It's funny you say that Manziel isn't going to be anything other than average but you also say that Watkins is going to be a superstar. You can't guarantee that, there's nothing to prove otherwise right now. It's all a crap shoot.
