Post & Discuss Your NFL Mock Drafts

Featured Replies

None of these guys will be first rounders, but here are some QBs to keep an eye on as the draft progresses:

Jimmy Garroppolo - Eastern Illinois

David Fales - San Jose State

Zach Mettenberger - LSU

I have been on the Garoppolo train for quite a while now. Love his quick release. The Jags staff had a good chunk of time to scout him during the senior bowl. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if they even dropped their 2nd round on him. It would be a reach no doubt but he could sit behind Henne for a year then take over.

Haven't actually scouted Fales much so I cant comment much on him. Mettenberger I have though. Has the size you would want in a QB no doubt. I just don't like QB's that have good college year then a bad one. Scares me

I know they've had Garroppolo in for a private workout. I don't think they pass on Clowney unless it's because they've traded the pick to move down and take a QB that they really like.

My dream mock for my Jags has been Clowney in the 1st and Garoppolo in the 2nd. I think this might end up being worst case for me and I wouldnt be surprised to see the Texans take this route.

Think the Vikes really like Bridgewater eh?

I think so. If he's not taken before them and is still on the board after Minnesota picks at #8, then barring someone that has traded down, he could see himself free falling.

Here are some thoughts on Bridgewater:

One analyst says he wouldn't be surprised if Manziel, Bortles, and Carr were all selected ahead of him.

I personally still think TB is the best QB in this class. I feel like there isn't the highest ceiling on him but he will be a solid starter maybe even a franchise guy. I think best case for him would be like a Matt Ryan type of career.

I disagree. I watched him play 3 times last year in person, not terribly impressed and think his progression is slow, delivery was slow to average, and will struggle. I hope I'm wrong because he seems like a terrific kid that I'd root for. I just don't see it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the giants take Donald at 12.

You don't think they'll take Lewan if he's on the board?

That's the popular pick for the Giants right now. They need help at DT though too. They could go either way I just won't be surprised if they take Donald. If Mike Evans shoots they would prob be interested I'm him also.

I honestly think Donald is going to be one of the best players coming from this draft. If the guy was 3 inches taller he would be in the hunt for top draft spot.

Agree. Seeing Evans play quite a few times living down here, that kid has some skill. In a few years, we may be talking about how Manziel owed him big. I definitely don't think Manziel is quite the same QB without him (but every good QB has some good receivers too).

I think putting Evans in the right system means he's in for some big years. I don't know if he's an NFL #1, but in a system where he can be a big, possession receiver who is pretty athletic for a #2 is a scary thought. Dude is huge, athletic, and has some nice hands considering.

I am very big on Evans. I great scenario I would like is the Jags trade back to Atlanta's spot. They take Mack and Jags get Evans with an extra pick somewhere else.

I think Kelvin Benjamin from FSU will in up being the best WR in the draft.

Really hope the Browns draft Manziel at 4.

They should have a very good draft and I think they finally get better and make the playoffs.

Some discussion today that the Giants have Haha Clinton-Dix high on their board and would take him if Evans/Donald are off the board. Id say all the top o linemen would have to be off the board too
