April 22, 201412 yr ....... Coach Tyndall is one of the few guys in the business that I've never heard a single opposing coach or recruiting guru say one bad word about. It is almost scary. Also likely means he was never at a big enough program to steal one of their recruits; but that has changed now. Wish him luck!

April 22, 201412 yr I think Tyndall can coach but not sure he's ready to recruit at this (SEC) level. Hope it works out for him (except when they play UK). I wonder how far down the list they had to go to find someone to take the job? Also heard that Kenny Payne may be the favorite to take the Southern Miss job.
April 22, 201412 yr Tyndall is a really good recruiter. I thought I read he gets a lot of Juco guys and transfers. What recruits has he beaten out "bigger fish" for?
April 22, 201412 yr He must be a superb recruiter to bet guys to Morehead and Hattiesburg. Looking at the rosters of both schools, he players from all across the country so it may not be as much of a challenge as I thought.

April 22, 201412 yr Soon as I seen this, I knew Wireman would be all over it. I dont think it was a home run hire for UT, but Tyndall will do good at UT IMO.
