Featured Replies

10th will be weak next year. Campbell be out in front. Mason, Harrison, and Clark will follow them. No one else can win it.

Campbell will follow Mason and Harrison. 10th Region goes to Harrison County in OT over MC. Remember the name Isaiah Garrison for Mason County

I'll remember the name, but how about you tell me more about him. :lol2:

Supposed to be the next big time player at MC, believe he will be a freshman next season, plays on a good AAU team(forget the name, they all sound the same to me). Sumo or one of the other MC posters could fill you in better. His Dad was a really good player at Mason County.

What position? How big is he?

Guard on varsity, maybe 6'1

I'm assuming an off guard?

Key for Mason will be the development of Pig Williams. I liked what I saw from him this past year.

Who was his dad?

His dad was Orlando Myrick. Isaiah will be a freshman next season. He was the starting point guard for the freshman last season, and played some key minutes on the JV. He plays for Lexington Future 14U, who won D3 Nationals 2 years ago, and are hoping to rank in D1 this year.

Thanks for the info, proudmomma! :thumb:

And Orlando Myrick was a heck of a ball player. Really good point guard.

So glad we will finally have another Myrick playing for MC.

I am not going to say a word until the night of the region finals and my team is sitting in the Regional Finals.

Ohearn will have to step his game up from the last two years but he has another good team. Harrison will be fine if the younger Pulliam kid keeps getting better. But Campbell is better than both of them right now.

Clark should get better too even though they lost the big boy. Montgomery is going to reload like they always do. I never got to see Paris but people tell me the Garrad kid is legit. Keep an eye on Bracken if all those Augusta kids follow Hinson. I hear they will. What about Scott? Schneider is one of the best guards nobody has heard of. I look for BB to take a back seat to them and Campbell.

Best players are Jackson, Wilson, Jenkins, Henry, Schneider, Crawford, King, Garrad, Thompson, Snapp, Pulliam, and Cooper.

I think the loss of who I thought was Campbell's best player(Holbrook) will be just enough to open the door for Harrison and Mason. Harrison's Coach(Kendall) has the pressure of guiding the talented and experienced Breds to what is a legitimate chance to win the 10th with 2 seniors(Thompson and Jenkins) and juniors(Pulliam and Williams), they have the talent, just need the coaching.

I'm with you on Harrison County having the talent. I just think that 1-2 combo of Jackson/Wilson gives Campbell the slight advantage. Not to mention they have McGovney & Losey back too. And I believe Jake Franzen as well.

I'll see your 1-2 combo and raise you the 1-3 of Harrison(Thompson,Jenkins and Puliiam) is better than CC's top 3 players:lol2: plus if they can get the JV play of the Williams kid in Varsity(some athlete). I sure hope CC doesn't repeat, they're good, just not a fan of that district.
