April 4, 201412 yr My grandparents have been married like 60+ years. You very seldom see that anymore. Recently they were put in the nursing home and I went to see them the first day my grandpa arrived. As I found their room they had pulled the 2 beds together and were laying there cuddled up like a couple of teenagers. I hate to say it but I hope when something eventually happens to one they both go. That's the only way I could see it happening.

April 4, 201412 yr It will be 34 years on July 6. People can't believe it because Mrs. Doomer looks 34 while I don't look a day over 80. I was 26 she was 20, so I robbed the cradle...but she is not a cousin or otherwise relative. :ylsuper:
April 5, 201412 yr Ten years on May 29th. Got married when we were 22 and 19. Met in August of 03 in college and married in May of 04. Gotta plan a big trip somewhere.

April 5, 201412 yr Congrats, Qryche11--count them all precious. I'm still married to the neatest lady I have ever met...for 42 years now. Got engaged the night before I left for Vietnam, brought her a diamond on Valentines Day the following year, and got married that June. So blessed!
April 5, 201412 yr It's 42 years in June for me. She will go to a game anywhere with me as long as we eat out first.
