Prior to this run, he had a bit of a reputation among Dayton fans for not being able to make adjustments when the plan wasn't working. Had games against St. Joe's, VCU and a couple others this year that were absolute disasters.

 

Harder to keep arguing that point considering he won eight of nine down the stretch that included victories over tournament teams UMass, St. Louis, and George Washington.
