In "A Christmas Carol" why is Scrooge looked down upon? Because he is stingy and doesn't have a giving attitude. Many people tried to get him to be more generous, but to no avail.

 

Scrooge's heart was changed when he was visited by the 3 spirits, and only then did he freely and generously give to others.

 

None of these solicitations to Clyde (or Jim Schue or Bugatti) will work until they have been visited by the spirit of BGP. And that, folks, is out of our control.
