The defending 3A champs who have been in the Finals 7 of the last 10 years will be a major factor the next 4 years

I know I am bias but Monroe should do very well in 2A in 2015...

6A Trinity, Scott Co. St X...the usual

5A BG, Highlands

4A Collins, John Hardin, JC

3A take your pick

2A Mayfield

1A Beechwood

6A The traditional powers-T,X, Scott Co, Simon Kenton

5A BG and HHS until others prove they can step up and beat those two

4A Boyle Co, Johnson Central, John Hardin, Collins

3A Not that familiar, I assume the usual suspects

2A Mayfield, NewCath, I assume there are other annual powers

1A Beechwood, Frankfort,

 

Unfortunately I'm not as familar with 1-3 A outside a couple top teams so I'm sure there are others I missed.

I agree with that. I'm hearing if the boys from Tompkinsville are ever going to win it all, the next two years is their chance...in particular 2015 like you said; and, that's saying something with how solid their teams have been here of late.

I agree with that. I'm hearing if the boys from Tompkinsville are ever going to win it all, the next two years is their chance...in particular 2015 like you said; and, that's saying something with how solid their teams have been here of late.

 

Monroe is my sleeper in the West in 3A this year... and next year I think they have the potential to be very, very good regardless of class.

 

This may surprise people...but in the scope of just the 2015 season I think I prefer having Boyle and LexCath over what Monroe will most likely have from the standpoint of a Belfry fan who will have a team that will be absolutely stacked in 2015. Now 2016 and 2017 is a different story (Boyle with Chuck Smith should be rolling by then), but the Falcons have proven they can do big things with limited talent and I see Monroe's talent pool being more full than I can remember in the near future.

I wouldn't consider my Tigers a favorite this year at all. Male and Trinity will be the ones to beat in 6A
