If I am a coach I would scout a team and also pull up all TOG stats of CCH games and you can get a pretty detail analysis of their team. No other team had their statistician provide such detailed info like TOG to this site. It is best he is off. Surprised he wasn't spoken to earlier.

 

So CovCath's coaches or administrators have told TOG to stay off of BGP? Interesting.

Team doesn't care if he is on BGP's. Admin either. I don't want to sound mysterious but it has nothing to do with CCH. It is a personal matter and he would have to tell you why, not me.

The stats TOG reported are public knowledge in the sense he reports the same stats to other outlets. Coaches can get CCH stats without reading them on here. Shame really, but I do not blame him.

 

BTW- Congrats to the colonels, and to Mr Shult! I assume 30 is his career high?

Several of you have commented so here goes. Some members just can't follow the rules (or blatantly break the rules), can't admit they broke the rules, and refuse to follow the reinstatement process. In other words, some members leave us no choice.

 

Additionally, if anyone thinks I try to run anyone off they are smoking crack.

Not been a huge Mark Shult fan this year but last night might have swayed me some. He set the ton of the game last night when he came out and dropped the trey and didn't look back. Played a very solid game last night both inside and outside.

 

Congrats to Ryle on a nice season. I applaud them for trying to fight back till the bitter end.

You do know those stats can be found other places than on here don't you? The stats aren't top secret and I doubt anyone associated with CCH for any of their team sports could care less. The stats he posted could be found by many other sources.

Looking back on the Northern KY All Conference Teams, you'd have had a hard time picking out which of those two big men last night were All Conference and which wasn't. I was a little surprised Mark Schult didn't get more attention throughout the season.

 

He is the brother, I assume, of Billy Schult who played there a few years ago. Is that correct?

If CCH continues to play the way they did last night, they will have a very, very good chance of winning the region.

Team ball, going through offensive rotations, getting the open shot, taking advantage of the open looks & swarming defense.

 

Tip of the hat to Mark Schult on an outstanding performance. He came ready to play, seized the opportunity & played like a senior leader.

I think CVH needs some kudos as well. Ryle's #20(sorry I don't know his name) came out on fire, I believe he had 11 after the first quarter. CCH coaching staff decided enough was enough and gave CVH the task of face guarding him. CVG totally shut him down, sparking the CCH second quarter run, game over.

You are correct. Mark is Billy's younger brother.

Not surprised that Mark doesn't receive much love. No one seems to understand that CCH has very good players beside Nick R. Same thing happened to the seniors on last years team.

You mentioned CVH here and I think he is one that gets overshadowed by others on the team. A hard nose player that always seems to be in the right spot to drain the shot. He's got a little more height than Nick, does a nice job driving the lane when needed, but has not shown the range that Nick has as of yet. Time will tell and will be fun keeping my eye on this kid throughout his HS career.

 

To the CCH ppl on here, do you see him taking the lead and running the offense for the next 3 years? I would think so.

Enjoyable but humbling for me tonight. I thought for the first three quarters, the CCH student section was paying homage to me. The were excited and could of swore they kept chanting ''tark the shark tark the shark". Then my son pointed out they were chanting "Mark the shark Mark the shark". Then it hit me, they had no idea who this fat bald guy with the bad back was. The were cheering Mr Schult!

I don't mean to speak for Big Horn, but I think he is referencing the fact that last year CovCath also only had 1 All Conference kid while inferior teams had more (I believe a 5 or 6 win Ryle team had two last year). This year a 25-1 CovCath team gets one and Ryle, again, as an example, has two.
