Iroquois who have been ranked top 15 all season in most polls have the 5th seed in their district. The have to beat Butler (who they recently lost too) and Doss to guarantee they make it into the regional tournament.

 

2013/14 Kentucky High School Boys Basketball

St. Mary and Tilghman is a very interesting game. Both are pretty good teams and one of them won't make it out of the district.

The seeding process has taken alot away from the 1st round district games......

How are they a 5 seed? Did they not play everyone or does that district draw for seedings (which is STUPID).

 

UPDATE: I just looked. That's the way the records worked out. Surprising.

DeSales has a nice team too and has a tough first round matchup against Western. (they lost to Western last week by 1). 22nd district also

Boyle County vs. Danville in the 45th. Boyle won both regular season games, but did so by 8 and 4 points, respectively. Boyle is the favorite to win, but the district tournament is at Danville, so an upset could be possible.

Owensboro Apollo vs. Daviess County--2 of the top 3 teams in the 3rd Region face off in the first game of the 9th District Tourney.
