They have always gotten strong opposition from the players but I never felt like Stern was serious was about it. Looks like Silver might be.

They've been wanting straight out of high school still; but I'm pretty sure during the lockout it was brought up how the PA could use that potentially as a bargaining chip (willingness to allow it to be raised), for more $ from the NBA. So it is possible it could be raised. Just need a commish that cares enough.
February 7, 201412 yr Author Will they have to wait until the new CBA or can they do it before then? I could be wrong but I believe that if both sides agree to open discussions about it then they can do it whenever. Of one side doesn't want to come to the table for discussions then I believe they have to wait for the next CBA.
February 7, 201412 yr I'd love this. As a fan of both the college and NBA games, I'm not sure how anyone could be against it. Both products would improve tenfold...
