Holy Cross has had some nice results this year, but this is crazy.

I would guess this is close to, if not the biggest win in their history.

I'd ask for details but I'm guessing it involves ice creeping over Hades. What on Earth?! Biggest upset in KY this season?

I can't even find out how it happened because none of the local basketball people I know or follow on Twitter even had this game on their radar. This came out of nowhere. What a win for the Cougars.

Do they seed in the district an does this mean PRP has to play Fairdale in the semis? Not that that will be a problem, but you never know.

This is why I hate PRP. Lamontrey Harris is one of the top 5 players in the state but he doesn't bring it every game like he should. When you look at PRP and watch PRP you'll see them and think....man this team could be special. Then they go beat Ballard for the LIT and give validity to those thoughts. Then they go lose to Holy Cross whose best win this season is....????? You kidding me???? They are sooooo much better than this. Super shaking my head moment. I can't imagine how frustrated their coach is. I'm just a fan of the game. He has to be losing sleep.

They do seed the district tournaments but I don't know that those pairings are set. Fairdale and PRP still have to play their scheduled district game.

Anything can happen.... Jefferson County kids were without practice/games (and possibly any real activity) all of this week because of weather (no school Monday, early dismissal Tuesday, No school Wednesday).... Rust possible settled in and got the best of them.

I'm heated right now and don't have one bit of blood family in Louisville let alone any kind of affiliation to PRP.

But they've been like this all year. Lose to Doss. Beat NCC then get blown out by NCC. Beat Ballard. Barely beat Bryan Station. Lose to Scott County. Beat Knott County Central. Lose to Holy Cross.

 

Maybe my expectations for them are too high. I just feel like with Harris and Hunter they should be better than what they are. Makes me feel like Jackson Davis is even more deserving of Mr. Basketball. He's doing more than Harris and Hunter and he's doing it with less help.

PRP has top talent almost every year and seems to underperform more often than not.
