February 3, 201412 yr Almost 2am here and roads are absolutely covered outside right now. Was ice at first covering the roads earlier in the day but now it has become snow. I'm going to go out on a real limb here and say Fayette county schools will be cancelled tomorrow... Now I can only hope that UK is cancelled tomorrow so I can get an extra day to study for my pharmacy exams .
February 3, 201412 yr Author Yep, etown, Owensboro, bowling greenOh ok now I get it. I got a young guy who works for me that use to think that Richmond was in EKY because of EKU. Roads were slick in Richmond and going deteriorating fast.
February 3, 201412 yr Looking outside looks like here in Winchester we have around 3 so far. Not sure of the road conditions, son getting ready to leave for work at 4:00. Schools are closed in Clark, Fayette and surrounding counties.

February 3, 201412 yr Ch 27 just reporting that I-64 in the Frankfort area is only 1 lane and very bad. Also several wrecks on the Interstate in the Georgetown area has been reported. Still waiting on our son to call to say he made it to work OK.
February 3, 201412 yr Son just called, he did make it to work in G-Town. He said that I-64 was bad but I-75 was terrible. Bumpers all over the road from wrecks. Everyone please be safe!!!!
February 3, 201412 yr Just heard on the news that all classes canceled till 10:00. On plan B schedule. EKU has canceled classes today. Just received a call about that not long ago. Snow is still falling here as we speak. I live about a mile off campus and I'm off just off Virginia (on Simpson avenue) and the roads are still completely covered. I feel very sorry for those who have to traverse these roads. Thankfully I don't have to until later in the day.
February 3, 201412 yr Well, I gave up. I've been shoveling my steps and sidewalk since 5:30, got my car sort of cleared off. I am giving up and working from home today
