February 2, 201412 yr Call it a hunch after this week Campbell, Kenton, and Boone Cnty schools will be in session into the first week of June. Utilize the time off wisely. I'm going 3-5" for NKY. Although my original 1-8" is a lot more safe :thumb:

February 2, 201412 yr Author I caution the calling for higher amounts. while the radar looks impressive right now some of it is virga. That is precipitation that isn't reaching the ground. Because of dry air it some times takes a while for the air to get saturated enough with moisture so that the precipitation can reach the ground. That is one reason why it is difficult to predict how much snow will accumulate on the ground.

February 2, 201412 yr Author I'll be back on around 1 am. Have to be at work at 2 in the morning. I'll give an update on the weather and road conditions then. Most of WKY road crews are already out responding to winter road conditions.
