You are correct sir! They happen to be from his home state. I'm a KY fan and didn't like him when he played for the Cats! Now he brings this crap!

Like him or not....when you don the UK uniform its like a free pass to getting whatever you want in this state. See...Richie Farmer.

Seriously, you look at guys like Jon Hood who is garbage but still on the UK roster and its for one reason and one reason only....to be treated like a God after college in the great state of KY.

Agree. Some of it is warranted. I would vote Darious Miller governor!

As I said in another thread, Cordia better not try very hard and win this thing. If so, the wealthy city schools will have the basketball program shut down. Wait and see.

That being said, Cordia by 9.

Now how can wealthy city schools do this? This is a public school in Knott Co. It is totally their decision.

Good story lines for this one.

Do you root for public or private?

Do you go for the transfers or the homegrown team?

Should make for good discussion

Who's the homegrown team?

I hope you're correct. But from what I heard, we aren't talking about normal transfers. We are talking about kids ranked nationally and more than just the two. Apparently, there was one already legal because he was unable to play in his state last year. Not sure if it's true, but we are talking about at least 3 kids that are ranked nationally in their class. One being a 6'6" PG. Again, if what I was told is true.

I honestly don't know so I'm asking, ARE some of the Cordia Kids actually Nationally Ranked? Which ones, what are their names, what positions do they play?

How many Transfers are there at Cordia, I've heard 1 to 6? Does NCC have any transfers?

NCC has 2

NCC has 2

NCC's transfers are a set of brothers that transferred from Walton when they made a coaching change. They are not kids from New York City! Little bit of a difference.

I have no idea how factual this is, but I can tell you what I heard. Heard a 6'6" PG that has been playing since day one because of didn't play last year due to eligibility reasons. Then heard two other post players. So 3 total and heard all were national ranked in their classes. That's all I know and have no idea how true it is.

Too much drama, hope the breeds throttle them.

From what I'm hearing, NCC can pray all they want...they don't have a shot! If what I'm hearing is true about transfers that have mysteriously been dropped off at little Cordia High School in KY and now have been deemed legal to play is all true, then this is a complete mockery of KY High School basketball. I won't state any facts because I just heard about it and don't want to say anything that isn't true. But if it is true, what a farce. Could anyone with any integrity really root for a team with multiple transfers from another state that could potentially take them from a decent team to an untouchable team in the state.

I truly hope what I'm hearing is completely false and over exaggerated. But it came from some pretty reliable sources. Anyone else able to shed any light on this?

By the way, I'm not knocking KHSAA for this. If it was done by the books, they would have no choice but to make the kids legal. But I'm sure they are not happy about a school taking advantage and stretching the rules...if this is all true. This is not what HS sports are all about. What a joke! I hope I got bad info on this!

I coach at one of NCC's biggest rivals, but for today, I am the biggest NCC fan on the planet!!!!

GO BREDS!!!

You would absolutely ":poop: a brick" if you heard half the stuff I've heard this entire tourney being around some of the "big wigs" I've been around this week. :sssh:

All I will say, wait and see, it is going to get real "interesting" to say the least.

But they transferred for basketball correct, because their coach left...right? Only difference is the mileage involved...?

Do the transfers for C start?

National and International Transfers - Transfers also (either presently or formerly) from Toronto, Canada).

I don't have a problem with either situation. I want every kid to play. But it seems you have a problem with the distance someone traveled to transfer but not transferring itself. I personally don't see a difference.
