Don't know for sure, but I heard the final was 74-68 in OT. I do know the Indians won!

Thanks!

Just got in from two of the best games I have seen in awhile. What a thriller. The place was packed. GRC led the whole way till about 4 minutes to go in the game. We had as much as a 14 point lead in the 3rd. Scores by quarters:13-8 and 30-27 at the half. 49-40 end of 3rd and then final of 57-62. 3rd Q Jerryd Jones scored most of GRC points, well balanced play by the Cards. So very proud of them, they gave it their all and just came up short late in the 4th quarter.

Girls score was 74-68 in OT.

Great talking to Jehearme tonight, hope you enjoyed your soft drink.

Congrats to the Indians and coaching staff on the win.

Knew this one would be closer than a lot of folks thought. Congrats to both teams on what sounds like an exciting game.

GRC led 49-36 with around 15 seconds left in the third quarter. Montgomery Co hit a pair of free throws and got a steal and a layup. The Indians got the ball to open the fourth. They scored and quickly got a steal and another bucket. In the span of about 40 seconds, the lead shrunk from from 13 to 5, and I think that gave the Indians a lot of confidence and may have put a little doubt into the Cardinals.

The Cards did a great job of controlling the tempo for three quarters, but appeared to wear down in the final quarter.

Brian Wallace put the Indians on his back and willed them to the victory, in his post game radio interview Coach Humphrey made a comment about how he could be right there with the Mr Basketball finalists.

Blake Thomas also played very well for the Indians off the bench. He is playing with a lot of confidence and gives the Indians a chance to move Wallace off the ball a little.

Jones for GRC played very well. I was surprised he didn't play much during crunch time. King is a great competitor who gives everything he's got on both sides of the ball.

I made the comment to my friends at the end of the 3rd Q that I didn't know if we could hold out the 4th quarter.

I love little Damion King's game. Just to look at him in warmups you wouldn't pick him out to be the player he is. Also really liked Green's game tonight off the bench. He had a monster block tonight. He was undersized but came out of nowhere for the block.

Agree on Thomas coming off the bench and playing well for MoCo. This will help them in the post season.

Two great games! Amazing what Coach Humphrey has gotten out of this vertically challenged group. They give it their all and play with a lot of heart. The GRC third quarter was as well played and coached stretch of high school basketball as you will see. Really liked Jones and King tonight.

GRC just didn't have much left for the fourth quarter. Congrats to the Indians.

I'll say it again...it's likely MoCo will win the district. That means A district champ will face GRC to open the region tourney. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes.

Agree. Record in no reflects what kind of team we are.

Nope. When you have a guy like Humph on the sidelines...anything can happen.
