January 30, 201412 yr Georgetown College officially files for NCAA DII Georgetown - Thu, Jan. 30, 2014 at 10:40 AM Tiger Nation, it is official, Georgetown College has once again submitted an application for acceptance for NCAA Division II affiliation. It has been a long process, but one taken with great diligence. Wednesday evening, three days before the Feb. 1 deadline, Director of Athletics Brian Evans submitted the final application. The Tigers have been provisional members with NCAA DII Great Midwest Athletic Conference for the past two years, and Kurt Patberg, Athletics Staffing & Consultants, served as the advisor for GC as it once again navigated the NCAA waters. January 31, 201412 yr Author Everyone Happy with this move? The Football Program seems to be. I don't know about the other programs. The Football Program will be playing in the Great Lakes Valley Conference. All other sports will be playing in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference.

January 31, 201412 yr Author Would that begin in the 2014 season? They are supposed to play NAIA in 2014, then D2 in 2015.
